Orakei Korako Geothermal Park

Next up on our day trip was a visit to the Orakei Korako Geothermal Park. We arrived at the perfect time as we were the only ones there, we quite literally had the place to ourselves!

After a short ferry ride over Lake Ohakuri, we were left to explore the park.

The thermal terraces are quite impressive!

Orakei Korako is New Zealand's largest geyser field, and a pretty cool hidden gem.

Such a great day of exploring, and catching up with family.
